Peek a Boo!!
One Cool Dude!!!
Its amazing how much Skylar has grown! I look back at pictures and can't believe how much she has changed in such a short amount of time! She was so tiny and now she's a little girl & is beginning to have her own little personality. She is 9 mos old now & the older she gets, the more fun it really is. I could spend hours at a time just watching her. I am amazed every day how her coordination improves and how more mobile she is becoming. She's not crawling...still doesn't care to be on her tummy, but she scoots around on her bum to get where she wants to go. We are in trouble now!!! Recently she started saying Mama regularly. I think Daddy got jealous because after spending a couple days with Daddy, Skylar started saying Dada...aparently Daddy was working with her during their time together! Either way, we can't get enough of it!!!! Over the last couple months she has cut 4 teeth, which has caused many tears to fall (can't wait till this stage is over!), but she is so cute with her new little chompers! Every stage of her life is so amazing! I just can't imagine life without her now. Its amazing how much one lil being can change your life so much. It just makes life so much more complete.
This Spring has been very busy for Justin & I. We went to Scottsdale over Spring Break...it was AWESOME!! Just to get away from life for a week was what we needed. Grandma stayed at our house for the week to watch the lil one, while Justin & I were basking in the sunshine by the pool. We really enjoyed our time away...but there's nothing like home! We really missed the lil one and couldn't wait to get home to see her! A week later, Justin traveled to Florida for CSI training. He had a great time in Florida and learnt alot, he's quite the photographer now! A week after that, he traveled to the Tri-Cities for more training. So as you can see, our life has been a little crazy lately. In between traveling, Justin & I did manage to train for the Windermere Half Marathon. Our goal was to finish, and that goal was accomplished in 2hrs 5min, not bad for our first time! Justin had so much fun, he wants to do it again next year!
Tara will be graduating high school this next week! This past Friday was her last official day of school. She is very excited to reach this point in her life and is excited to move onto college. We can't believe how the time is flown! Justin can't believe he has a daughter that is graduating high school. He says it seems like it was just yesterday that she was starting kindergarten. We our very proud of Tara and the beautiful person she has become, and wish her the best in her future endeavors.
Until next time...much love from the Hobbs Family!
